Spike Sings a Song

This all seems just so very familiar, doesn't it? Not only that, the family on the show is named "Stevens," which is just a few letters difference from "Evans." Not that there could possibly be any meaning in that . . . or the name "Endora" which is like both Nymphadora and Dorea Potter, possibly Lily Evans mother-in-law.
You can also imagine Gladys Kravitz being one of the Dursleys' next-door-neighbors.
I watched this show every day of my life the entire time I was growing up, so I know it well. When we read about Muggle and Wizard relationships in the HP books, it's difficult not to be reminded that the story of Samantha and Darrin was so similar. I never saw the remake - I don't care much for Nicole Kidman, and she could never measure up to Elizabeth Montgomery, in my opinion.

curious - Music:Mariah Carey "Vison of Love"
My favorite television shows are all on Bravo TV. Project Runway is the best, but I also love Top Chef, which last night had a wonderful Christmas Cook-Off, and I think Tim Gunn's Guide to Style is one of the sweetest shows I've ever seen. My obsession with Bravo began with the very first reality show - Blow Out. I've never been interested in styling hair, but the personalities on that show were so fascinating that it drew me in.
That is also how I feel about the Real Housewives of Orange County, which holds my interest for an hour each week for totally different reasons.
