Well, my title refers to the parable known as the "Wisdom of Solomon" in the Bible, in which two women are fighting over a small child, each saying they are the "mother." King Solomon was asked to judge the problem, and he said: "Bring me a sword and I'll cut the child down the middle and give half to each woman." One obviously crazed woman said "OK." The other immediately said a loud "NO," and gave up the child. King Solomon said, "Well, it's easy to see that the one who was able to let go is the real mother, and besides that, cutting up children is sort of evil and not very heroic. Page, wrap up this sword and mail it to the tribe of Gryffindoric because I'm tired of sharp objects."

Well, something like that - but what reminded me of the story was that Warner Brothers has decided to chop the Deathly Hallows story in half, resulting in two movies instead of one. That way, they can squeeze another moolah-making movie out of the franchise. That way the number of movies equals the number of horcruxes, including Harry's head scar - eight instead of seven.

And finally, that way they can ensure that fans everywhere will thank them on bended knee for all the time Harry will waste wandering around in the forest with his tent-mates in Movie seven, and all the big-bad battle scenes in Movie Eight. Yes, aren't we all just so excited about that?

So where will they cut it? Down the Middle? Where exactly "is" the middle? Give me your wisdom!
