I promised
My husband angles them outward and then the weight of the tomatoes pulls them straight as they get heavy.
We learned to do this the hard way after having our tomato trellis nearly collapse a few summer ago.
The sugar peas on the right have turned yellow now, so I'm planting something else there.
They can't survive the ninety-degree weather.
and they've been growing since back in January.
( All it takes is a rake and a hoe and a piece of fertile ground... )

I was trying to think of something to post that represented the past year for me.
It goes without saying that I was obsessed with politics, so I'd rather leave that topic behind for the holiday.
And God knows I wrote enough about legal matters and the Lexicon case last year,
so let's just be glad that is over and that Steve's second book is coming out in January- Yay!
With all that in mind, I decided to share a few of my favorite TV shows
that took my mind "off" all these heavy matters.
So Happy New Year while we celebrate three of the dorkiest and most entertaining TV shows on cable.
