Harry reached out, seized the brass handle, pulled open the door and led the way into a spacious room lit with flickering torches like those that illuminated the dungeons eight floors below. The walls were lined with wooden bookcases and instead of chairs there were large silk cushions on the floor. ~ Order of the Phoenix, Chapter 18, "Dumbledore's Army"

I use my Livejournal as a blog about Harry Potter Fandom. I live in East Tennessee, and I (try to) lead a quiet life. I've been married almost 30 years to a sweet Hufflepuff who puts up with me. I have three children, 2 sons and a daughter. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in "English and the American Language and Literature." I write essays about Harry Potter, been published in a few books including The Plot Thickens and Mugglenet's Harry Potter Should Have Died, and right now I'm (supposed to be) writing a series of mystery novels, but I'm lazy.
As Silver Ink Pot: Senior Editor of The Harry Potter Lexicon I'm Essay and Global Moderator for Harry Potter Network (TheHPN.net), the home of a motley crew of bibliophiles, castaways, deeply horrible people, and also particularly smart people known as "Snape's Army." I am rarely found on Chamber of Secrets Forum but once wrote thousands of posts there that are probably still circling the internet. I don't write fan-fiction very often, except for short parodies full of snark. I am intrigued by mysterious subjects and the ironies of human nature. I like to write about legal matters and fandom controversies. I've been a True Fan of Harry Potter Since 1998. I have strong opinions some of you may not want to read.
