Pottermore has added a new Patronus test for members, though you only get one chance to take it and many people aren't exactly thrilled by the selection of animals.

Actress Ivanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) received a Salmon as her patronus. Yes, a salmon.
My sad lil salmon would make me cry &feel bad things & doesn't that defeat the whole point of a patronus?! WHERE IS MY FIERCE LION PATRONUS— Evanna Lynch (@Evy_Lynch) September 23, 2016

J.K. Rowling tries to make fans feel better about the Patronus selection
J.K. Rowling took the test and, surprise, she got a beautiful bird that she likes. Oh, how could that happen, I wonder? Oh, maybe she helped write the test? I've always loved great blue herons and thought of them as my spirit animal, too, so I have to point out that her bird looks more like a swan in flight than a heron.
I took the test and got Manx Cat, the tail-less cat from the Isle of Mann. I'm not really a cat person, and I wish it was a wild animal instead of a domesticated cat. This is one good reason why Dolores Umbridge should not have had a Patronus either - she has tainted cats forever! While I understand that it is canon for a Patronus to be a surprise, sometimes it would be better if Pottermore let members have more control over stuff that is supposed to be fun and represent the members.
